Leading up to our Wedding, Kahlia our coordinator was honestly one of the best people I have ever spoken with, words can not describe how much of a gem she is. She was so helpful, responsive to all communication and amazing regarding advice on things to make our day so special.

On the day she ensured it all ran so smoothly and the rest of the Babalou team were so great, so fast with serving our guests and very friendly. Our guests told us how much they loved the venue and how great the food was.

From viewing the venue, a postponement, last minute changes with border closures, to leaving the reception as newlyweds, the team at Babalou were professional, easy to communicate with and flexible.

The service on the day was amazing and our guests are still raving about the absolutely delicious food we were served in abundance! The venue space with the premium package was beautiful and helped highlight the spectacular ocean views.

“Kahlia and the Babalou team were so great in helping us plan and execute our special day. We booked a Saturday afternoon wedding with their ceremony and reception package. We held our ceremony at the Rowan Robinson park across the road and they took care of council permits and basic ceremony items. For the reception we went with the 2 course share plate options (everyone was raving about the beef cheek) and had a set of late night pizzas brought out about 9:30. Can’t thank the team enough”

“My husband and I had our reception here and it was such an amazing wedding venue!!!!

I was so impressed with all the staff on the night they were so attentive to not only the bridal party, parents of the bride/groom, the grandparents but to all of our guests! It was set up so beautiful with the soft festoon lighting, plentiful space to seat 110 people, an area for a photo-booth, outdoor smoking area and a great dance floor with room for a band. The food was perfect, all our guests have raved about high quality it was, so big thank you to the chef Steve!

Leading up to the day we were able to access the room a number of times which was very helpful to figure out table seating arrangements and to practice our first dance!
